There are only two weeks left till Christmas and I’ve been feeling the rush so much with traffic, the crowded malls and street that I actually want to take a breather. But of course, with work, family life and other things, I cannot. I also have to think about think about last minute holiday shopping (I still haven’t completed my list! Yikes!), but this year, I know better and I can skip lines and shop online for some gifts! Lamudi has just concluded another successful Housing Fair, this time held at SM Cebu Trade Hall, on September 21-22, 2019. The weekend is always my favorite time of the week because it’s the chance I get to spend with my favorite boys without having to stress about work or worry about school and it’s OUR moment together to relax or bond. For me, that’s what makes up a great weekend. :)

During those two days, there are times that we go out, find something new to do or stay at home. In the case of just being indoors, my family and I often watch home movies and eat home cooked meals. But it’s rare that we get to do our own dessert and since the boys are dessert fiends, I decided to do something fun and yummy with them – create our very own Mango Float!

Every year when I think of my New Year’s Resolution or look back on the past year, I always wish for more quality time with my family. Its something that will never be off my list because I know how fast time flies and that soon my kids will be all grown up and I want to be able to cherish every waking moment with them. Though, to be honest, there are days that I get so overwhelmed with juggling things, like my career, passion projects, mommy duties and taking care of our family that I tend to shut down because I feel like I’m not in control and things just fall apart. But this 2019, I vowed to keep an even more optimistic/open mind, free myself from things I cannot control, and focus on a worry-free life for me and my boys, because as moms, our kids see us as their role models and we want them to grow-up in a happy and stress-free environment. :) It starts with us, mommas!

Earlier today I had a date with my fellow blogger friends and in our conversation, we started discussing about age. I opened up how turning 30 is somehow making me nervous, because I felt like I’ve been in my 20s for so long that it might feel different somehow? I think my main concern was more on the health side of things. In the end, we concluded that age is just a number. It’s how you live your life that will define it. Given that I’m not getting any younger, I actually want to set health goals for myself and on the top of my list is to drink more vitamins and keep it in my routine. I used to neglect this part, but it really does play a big role!
